Spectators: View the Race Tracker

The MHOR 2011 will be using Fleet Location Tracking (FLT) with iBoatTrack equipment supplied by Horizon Marine. The transponders will be issued to the race entrants during check-in at the Boston Yacht Club before the race, and will be returned to iBoatTrack (Horizon Marine) after finishing in Halifax. In the event of loss, destruction or non return of the unit the skipper or owner will be charged a Damage Deposit Fee of $495.

Free Track-Back Service:
iBoattrack will be providing a complimentary return trip tracking and mapping service for all vessels in this year’s race.  In addition to the basic race mapping site, we will also provide a second web link tracking and mapping all vessels departing Halifax after the race.  Due to the increased interest from friends and family to track their loved ones home after a race has been completed, we are now offering this service to all vessels at no charge to any party.  After you have arrived home from the race or if you are staying in Halifax, please see the tracker return instructions below.  Please retain the individual tracker box that you receive with the tracker at pre-race check-in in order to ship the tracker back.  This box displays a label indicating the return shipping address for the tracker.  Please call the iBoattrack main number at 508-748-1861 during regular business hours if you have any questions or concerns.
 

Tracker Return Instructions:

To participate in the complimentary “Track-Back” service, after you have arrived in Halifax, please keep the tracker on deck in the same spot where it was originally mounted for the length of your stay as well as your trip back to the states.  Once you have arrived home (or if you are based in Halifax), please kindly ship the tracker back to our address, postmarked by August 15, 2011.  Please ship the least expensive way possible for you … we do not need the trackers expedited to our office overnight.  There is a label on each tracker and tracker box providing our website, telephone number, and shipping address, including the date the tracker needs to be shipped by (August 15).  We will email a receipt confirmation once the tracker has arrived.
