I have raced 5 Marblehead to Halifax races on a Peterson
44 along with many other Nova Scotia overnight ocean
races. Sailed doubled handed to the Magdelaine Islands
and to the Gaspe in Quebec. I have the Safety at Sea
training course, advanced First Aid along with most
Power Squadron courses. I also own a 40 footer and have
many years of racing experience. I can also provide an
approved 8 person life raft and necessary flares, hand
held radios and much more safety equipment. I can do any
job on a boat but because I am a female I won't
guarantee that I would be the best cook on board!!

successful in both the 420 and 29er dinghy classes, with
repeating victories at both ARK and the annual SMSC
regatta in 2004, 2005, and 2006. My partner and I won
Sail East in 2004 and I was invited on to the Nova
Scotia Provincial Race Team for the 2006 and 2007
seasons. I have experience sailing many different types
of boats from Tornados to smaller yachts and in the
summer of 2006 I crewed on a 50' schooner in the annual
schooner regatta out of Lunenburg Yacht Club. I would

cruises. Last year, I was fortunate enough to skipper a
J30 to 1st in our class in Boston's Flip Flop Regatta. I
am a 36 year old father of two, a high school teacher, a
pretty good cook, easy to get along with, and always

week or ten days sailing on the Bras d'Or Lakes. If you

return Wharf Rat, CS 40, after race. Leave around 7/13.
Wharf Rat is well equipped, radar, chart plotter, etc
and will have all safety gear aboard for return. Email
